We beg to hand you herein documents in connection with our claim for 60 cases Bottled Beer shipped by this steamer, which sailed from Antwerp on the 24th July 1914.

As stated in our application, we enclose copy of original invoice to our friends in Hongkong, together with supplier's

invoice (this being one of the three enclosed and is marked with

a blue cross in the bottom right hand corner), and receipt for

payment and also the Nippon Yusen Kaisha's certificate referring

to the Bills of lading.

We trust that the documents enclosed will be sufficient

evidence to establish ownership of the cargo and that you will be

able to give the necessary order of release so that the goods may

be carried to their original destination.

We should be much obliged if you would favour us with the

return of the Wickuler Kupper Brewery's invoices and also the

receipt for settlement.
